You do not need to meet any criteria for a mental concerns or a severe enough issue to seek my help. People come to therapy to talk about anything, and I am here to listen. People also have various reasons and different goals. I am here to help you however I can!
Heteronormativity and cisnormativity are still extremely prevalent and problematic and embedded in society. We can untangle and sort through this together!
Unfortunate Discrimination
Discrimination is abundant in Florida, as well as across the United States. In a journal article regarding treatment in health care settings, LGBTQ people shared they were more likely to experience discrimination.
This is far from the only study that shares these findings. In therapy with Patrick, you can be assured he continues to do the work to increase competency by consulting and continuing education.
